Braking woes

After a little spin the Gixxer's rear brake is still weeping at the master cylinder. I've organised for a HEL braided line to replace the one that's on there and it should be here this week. I gave the race bike a good wash but it still couldn't shift the marks off the wheels. Steel wool did the job and took a few layers off the paint as well - did I need an excuse to repaint them? I started polishing the front end that I'm looking to put in there and the scale is easy to get off but the marks are still remaining. The racer's master cylinder is also rusted out but luckily I have the spare off the donor bike which hopefully will do the job.
