WTF over!
Decided to fix the indicators today and what a debacle that turned into. I'm running led indicators and knowing you can't use the normal flasher I went off and bought a LED specific bike one.....and it didn't work. In looking at that the rear brake light was also no longer working???? Checked the light itself and it was fine, the brake pressure switch was playing up. Maybe I don't have enough pressure in the line?....Why is there brake fluid on the rear sets? FAAAARKKKKKK!!!!! Long story short, the brake switch is cactus - need a new one. The master cylinder has been leaking brake fluid past the reservoir attachment seal - need to replace the seal or replace the whole master cylinder. My uber sexy HRC race reservoirs are still sweating brake fluid plus the lines have clouded - have to consult with the seers at RGV250.co.uk for some advice on this one.
Went back to the original indicator flasher and decided to load up the indicators with after market resistors so it will flash - need to buy them.

Braking woes
After a little spin the Gixxer's rear brake is still weeping at the master cylinder. I've organised for a HEL braided line to replace the one that's on there and it should be here this week. I gave the race bike a good wash but it still couldn't shift the marks off the wheels. Steel wool did the job and took a few layers off the paint as well - did I need an excuse to repaint them? I started polishing the front end that I'm looking to put in there and the scale is easy to get off but the marks are still remaining. The racer's master cylinder is also rusted out but luckily I have the spare off the donor bike which hopefully will do the job.

Rear Brake
I put the rear brake caliper on last night and it looks good with the red braided line although I can't fit up the master cylinder without the foot pegs attached. Still deciding on whether to get the footpegs now or wait till later......oh, decisions, decisions. Okay, rearsets have been bought in their luverly shiny silverness.
The hose kit arrived today and I've picked up the fender for my Gixxer, added to the huge mountain of bike parts.
